Where My Education Has Taken Me
My work has spanned many places, including Montreal, Canada where I
presented a paper in April 2010 at the North Easter Decisions Science Institute,
that was co-written with two professors and another
student. The title of the paper was
Does Mobile Technology Help or Hinder
Meeting Productivity?, and was an excellent way for me to put prior management
course work into real life applications. The conclusions in the paper were
written by myself and another student, allowing us to draw them from our
education and past experiences.
If you would like to read the paper, please feel free to
view a copy of it. Once you open it you can right click and save the PDF for later viewing purposes. NOTE:

What I Have REALLY Learned
At Roger Williams University I was able to learn a great deal
both inside and out of the classroom. The professors in the
Gabelli School of Business are all very knowledgeable and
easy to talk to outside of class. However, for every bit of
information I learned inside the classroom I learned an equal
amount outside.
My alma mater has provided me with learning opportunities since
I first step foot on campus. Starting freshman year I was thrust
into an environment that was always changing and always growing.
This has taught me to adapt to situations quickly and to utilize
all of my prior knowledge and experience.
The university has prepared me to cohesively work with other individuals,
using leadership and negotiation tactics to create the most integrative
solutions, resulting in a win-win for all parties involved in the relationship.
I came in as a freshman, but have graduated as much more than just a senior.
